Advanced Work Positioning Net System
Unlike traditional safety nets used solely for fall arrest, WEB-Guard™ is designed to support the operative, keeping them in position and stable while working — especially when performing tasks in awkward locations, on sloped or uneven steel, or above sensitive assets like water or live infrastructure.
Key features and advantages
Tight-knit mesh for increased stability
WEB-Guard™ uses a 40mm² mesh size, far smaller than the 100mm² size typical of EN 1263-1 fall arrest nets. This tighter mesh increases net tension, reduces foot penetration and minimises lateral movement — delivering a more stable working surface.
Durable, high-tensile construction
Each net is constructed from knotted 4mm polyester cord, with a minimum breaking load (MBL) of 470 kg per strand. The knotted structure provides higher slip resistance than woven alternatives and maintains shape under pressure.
Custom sizing and obstacle integration
Standard sizes include: 8m x 4m 4m x 4m 4m x 3m 4m x 2m Smaller “patch nets” are available for infill areas or fitting around structural obstacles.
High-strength edge finish
All WEB-Guard™ nets are bordered with 1600 kg MBL interwoven polyester tape or rope, overlock-stitched with 1.5mm polyester thread for durability and long-term strength.
Annual UV degradation testing
Every net is supplied with 4 destructive test patches, in line with fall arrest netting regulations, to ensure safety and performance over time — especially important in UV-exposed environments.
